Abstract
In photorefractive (PR) materials with a large PR gain ΓL (Γ is the two-beam coupling coefficient and L is the effective interaction length), beam fanning effect (amplified scattering) was often observed, such as in BaTi03 and KNSBN crystals,12 which is the base to implement a self-pumped conjugator. Recently, several high performance PR composites have been reported,3'5 and amplified scattering was also observed,6,7 even a linear self-pumped conjugator was demonstrated.8
