Oscillatory regime of two-beam coupling in cubic 4 ¯ 3 m crystals

Abstract

We show that in crystals of symmetry 4¯3m (lacking optical activity) a new regime is possible for two-wave mixing in longitudinal geometry which is characterized by oscillatory energy transfer, that is, energy transfer in both directions, depending on the crystal thickness
