Abstract

We report on double-peak reflectivity temperature-tuned optical phase conjugation (OPC) in InP:Fe under dc fields. Degenerate four-wave mixing (DFWM) is realized in a new single-pump geometry that generates reflectivities up to 6.7% for pump intensity of 28 mW/cm2. The phase conjugate reflectivity exhibits strong temperature dependence but optimum reflectivity temperature deviates from that of the two-wave mixing (TWM) resonance. The thermal scans also exhibit different characteristics with the readout pump at a small phase-mismatch with respect to the writing beams.
