Inscription and improvement of novel fiber Bragg gratings by 800 nm femtosecond laser through a phase mask

Abstract

Novel FBGs were inscribed by 800 nm femtosecond laser through a phase mask. The improvement of the experimental setup and the inscription results of broadband FBGs, phase-shifted FBGs, and negative-index FBGs were exhibited.
