Magnetic field vector sensor based on directional scattering between polarized plasmon wave and arrayed nanoparticles

Abstract

A magnetic field vector sensor based on surface Plasmon resonance of a gold-coated tilted fiber Bragg grating and magnetic fluid is proposed. Both the orientation and the intensity of magnetic fields can be determined.
