Resonant Fiber Optic Gyro Based on Total Internal Reflection Photonic Crystal Fiber Ring Resonator

Abstract

A new type resonant fiber optic gyro (RFOG) equipped with a fiber ring resonator fabricated by the total internal reflection photonic crystal fiber (TIR-PCF) is firstly demonstrated and achieves a bias stability of 4.63°/h.
