Orientation-dependent Accelerometer using Inner-Cladding-FBG

Abstract

An orientation-dependent accelerometer based on inner-cladding-FBG inscribed on quadruple -cladding fiber is proposed and demonstrated, experimentally. And the device shows a good sensitivity and orientation-dependence in the vector acceleration measurement.
