Delayed differential pulse pair BOTDA sensor with three-tone probe

Abstract

A BOTDA sensor based on delayed dual-frequency differential pulse pair is proposed to realize extended range and sub-meter spatial resolution simultaneously. Spatial resolution of 0.5 m is experimentally demonstrated with a 24.444 km sensing fiber.
