A hybrid fiber-optic condition monitoring technique with arrayed waveguide grating

Abstract

A fiber-optic sensor system for potential uses in multi-stress monitoring of large scale wind turbine is proposed. It consists of FBG sensors and Michelson interferometers in single fiber-optic circuit with an AWG for multiplexing the interferometers.
