Abstract

We present third-order cascaded elliptical micro-rings based four-channel de-multiplexers/ multiplexers on silicon-on-insulator with a high out-of-band rejection ratio. Asymmetric Mach-Zehnder (AMZI) typed de-multiplexers/ multiplexers of low-loss have also been demonstrated.
