Laser Techniques and Frequency Conversion for a Neodymium-Based Blue Communication Transmitter

Abstract

A Nd:YAlO3 laser transmitter which matches the cesium resonance filter at 455 or 459 nanometers has been demonstrated. Investigations of frequency conversion and laser system techniques were performed. The experimental results are presented.
