Abstract

Er:YLF laser performance at 0.85 and 1.73μm is explored as well as the possibility of self cascade lasing. Laser operation on both transitions is investigated as a function of temperature. Possible self cascade laser operation has been assessed using both laser performance and spectroscopic data.
