Abstract

Efficient continuous-wave operation of thulium-doped fluorozirconate fiber lasers operating at 23µm, 1.9µm and 0.8µm is described when pumped at 0.79µm with a Ti:sapphire laser. CW laser oscillation has also been observed at 1.47µm.
