Blue Optical Parametric Generation in LiB3O5

Abstract

Blue optical parametric generation from noncritically phase-matched LiB3O5 pumped at 355 nm is reported. A slope efficiency of 30% from incident uv to 480 nm has been achieved. Pump extraction and spectral measurements of the signal output have been performed.
