Compact, Single-Frequency, Injection-Seeded Ti:Sapphire Ring Laser

Abstract

Efficient operation of a compact, injection-seeded Ti:sapphire ring oscillator is demonstrated. The output pulse is singlefrequency, near-diffraction-limited (M2 < 1.1), and temporally precise (δt ≤ ± 300 ps).
