Diffractive Analysis of an External Resonant Ring for Quadrupling Nd Lasers

Abstract

The effects of diffraction, depletion, and ring propagation are modelled for an external resonant ring containing two nonlinear crystals. Results from the numerical simulation show that the process is stable and can efficiently convert IR to UV.
