Abstract

This volume is the proceedings of the Topical Meeting on Advanced Solid-State Lasers, which took place in Salt Lake City, Utah, February 7–10, 1994. The meeting emphasized recent advances in solid-state laser and optical parametric oscillator technology including laser and nonlinear materials, gain-medium spectroscopy, laser modeling and design, laser technology and ultrashort-pulse lasers.
