Room Temperature Continuous Wave Upconversion Er:YLF Laser at 551 nm

Abstract

With an 1% Er: YLF crystal we obtained - to our knowledge for the first time - 40mW of 551nm radiation by using an excited state absorption pump scheme near 810nm.
