Kerr Lens Mode-Locked Pr:YLF Laser in the Visible

Abstract

We report picosecond pulse generation using saturable absorber initiated Kerr lens mode locking of visible transitions in c.w. pumped Pr:YLF. Self starting in optimised cavities has also been observed.
