Diode-Laser-Pumped 945 nm Laser in Nd3+ Doped Sr5(PO4)3F

A room temperature, diode-laser-pumped 945 nm laser has been demonstrated in Nd3+ doped Sr5(PO4)3F. Blue laser emission at 472.5 nm has been demonstrated via the intracavity second harmonic generation of this wavelength.
