Abstract
We demonstrated a KTA OPO (θ = 90°, ϕ = 15°) pumped by a diode-pumped, Q-switched and injection-seeded Nd:YAG laser. The wavelength of the signal wave was 1.5322 µm. The conversion efficiency was as high as 49%. Compared to the noncritical phase matching at θ = 90°, ϕ = 0°, the phase matching angles chosen in this work allowed a blue wavelength tuning while preserving the high effective nonlinear coefficient deff and the small walk-off angle.
