Abstract

High pulse energy all-solid-state ultraviolet laser by all-CLBO harmonic generator is obtained. 600 mJ of 266 nm and 320 mJ of 213 nm UV pulses were obtained at an operation rate of 10 Hz. Independently, 9.7 W of 266 nm and 4.0 W of 213 nm pulses were obtained at 100 Hz. CLBO is shown to have better ability to handle thermal dephasing effect at high input power condition as compared to BBO crystal.
