Abstract

An investigation of a single longitudinal mode BBO optical parametric oscillator and amplifier pumped by the third harmonic of a nanosecond Nd:YAG laser is presented. Single longitudinal mode parametric generation in the region of 450-1680 nm with spectral linewidth of 170-300 MHz (signal wave) and with maximum output energies of 55 mJ for the signal wave and 42 mJ for the idler is achieved.
