Tunable All Solid State Average Power ZGP OPO at 2.7 and 8.5 microns

Abstract

A ZnGeP2 optical parametric oscillator producing 0.4 W CW of 8 micron idler light (1.5 W sig & id) driven by a 10 W, 10 Khz, 10 nsec diode pumped Tm:Ho:YLF pump source is demonstrated. The DRO ZGP OPO was tuned through the signal and idler spectral ranges around 2.7 and 8.5 microns.
