Near ultraviolet generation in diode-pumped KTP nonlinear waveguides

Abstract

Near ultraviolet output was generated from diode-pumped KTP nonlinear waveguides. In the first demonstration of an unstable resonator semiconductor laser-pumped KTP waveguide, 86 μW at 385. 2 nm was produced. Milliwatt-leve1 operation at 387.2 nm was observed from an index-guided AlGaAs diode laser-pumped KTP waveguide.
