Diode-pumped high average-power, high repetition-rate 2.94 µm Er:YAG laser

Abstract

We report on more than 3 W average output power of a 2.94 µm qcw diode-pumped total internal reflection Er:YAG-laser operating at 100 pps. Repetition rates of up to 600 pps at >1.2 W output power have been achieved.
