Passive temperature compensation in critically phasematched harmonic generation*

Abstract

We describe a simple technique to compensate the change in phasematching angle with temperature in critically phasematched harmonic generation. Experimental results are presented for Beta Barium Borate with a nearly a four-fold increase in temperature acceptance bandwidth.
