Abstract
1.2 mJ pulses have been generated using an all-fiber chirped pulse amplifier system. The system is based on a 50-µm core Yb-doped double-clad fiber, producing diffraction-limited 400-ps stretched and amplified pulses, which are recompressed to 380 fs.
