Dynamics of singly-resonant, intracavity ring optical parametric oscillator

Abstract

We study theoretically and experimentally the dynamics of a single-frequency, unidirectional ring laser with an intracavity nonlinear singly-resonant OPO-crystal. Good agreement is found for a range of complex dynamic phenomena such as transient operation and Q-switching.
