Abstract

Nd3+ doped Y2O3 crystal has the difficulty of crystal growth due to structural phase transition. In order to avoid this problem we fabricated high transparent Y2O3 ceramics without any sintering aid and evaluated optical properties from some spectroscopic measurements.
