7.4W CW output power of Nd:YAG laser radiation at 946nm and 500mW of 473nm laser by extra cavity doubling using periodically poled KTP

Abstract

We have recently deployed a high brightness, fiber coupled diode laser array for pumping an Nd: YAG laser in a 946nm configuration. We achieved outstanding results for 946nm (CW) output power. Results for 473nm are encouraging.
