High quality output from a CW Nd:YVO4 laser with phase conjugate resonator

Abstract

Laser oscillation of a continuous-wave diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 phase conjugate resonator has been demonstrated. A 7.5 W output with high beam quality was obtained. Slope efficiency of 46 % and optical extraction efficiency of 33 % were achieved.
