Few-cycle pulse characterization based on third harmonic d-scan – role of the nonlinear medium

Abstract

We report on third harmonic based dispersion scan (THG d-scan) technique with different band gap materials as nonlinear media. Pulse characterization results are highly reproducible and independent of the used nonlinear medium.
