Abstract
We present a new ns fiber-based front-end for upgrading the LULI2000 facility. This synthesized fiber front-end using an Arbitrary Waveform Generator for programmable pulse generation is capable of producing shaped long pulse from 100 ps to 20 ns at the µJ level and then amplified at an energy of 200 mJ at 10 Hz with fast rise time, very low jitter and good stability thanks to the all diode pumping Nd:YLF pre-amplifiers. This front end is ready for SBS suppression in large scale optics in Nd:Glass facilitie and 2D smoothing by spectral dispersion (SSD). This front-end is a good candidate to seed Nd:Glass laser facilities or to design stable shaped pulsed lasers for OPCPA pumping.
