Effective mid-IR pulse generation pumped by high average power thin disk regenerative amplifier

We developed 50-W, 100-kHz thin-disk regenerative amplifier as a pump source of mid-IR optical parametric amplifier. To estimate the thermal effects, we measured the temperature distributions of RTP crystal using a thermal imaging camera.
