High Energy and Rapidly Tunable Cr:ZnSe Laser Pumped with Q-switched Tm:YAG Laser

Abstract

We demonstrated a high energy and rapidly tunable Cr:ZnSe laser pumped with Q-switched Tm:YAG laser using an acousto-optic tunable filter as wavelength tuning element. Maximum output energy of 5.7 mJ at 2.41 µm and tuning range from 2.12 to 2.70 µm were achieved.
