High-power, single-frequency, single-pass second-harmonic-generation by optimally focused Yb-fiber laser

Abstract

We report 36% efficient, frequency-doubling of continuous-wave Yb-fiber laser using MgO-doped periodically-poled LiTaO3 crystal in a single-pass configuration resulting in >14.5 W of single-frequency green radiation with excellent spectral and spatial quality.
