Passively Q-switched Nanosecond Erbium-doped Fiber Laser with MoS2 as Saturable Absorber

Abstract

A passively Q-switched erbium-doped fiber laser with MoS2 as saturable absorber is demonstrated. Stable Q-switched operating is achieved with pulse width of 660 ns and pulse repetition rates from 116 to 131 kHz.
