Abstract
Four-wave-mixing-based amplification in a gas-filled hollow fiber operated in the regime of a narrow, intensity-controlled time gate delivers tunable compressed mid-IR pulses with energies >10 μJ suggesting a promising source for applications in time-resolved IR spectroscopy.
