Experimental Investigation on Idler Absorption Effect in Pulsed Optical Parametric Amplifiers

Abstract

The effects of idler absorption on pulsed OPA for 1.572μm signal are investigated in experiments. Stronger idler absorption (e.g. KTP) is proved to be better than low absorption (e.g. KTA).
