kW-level tunable Q-switched thulium-doped fiber system

Abstract

We demonstrate a core-pumped Q-switched thulium-doped fiber system up to 10 kHz with fast tunability capability over 100 nm without any movable part delivering pulses of peak power up to 2500 W.
