Abstract

Coherent giant chirp pulse generation from Yb-doped fiber laser with excess dispersion was demonstrated. Dissipative soliton dynamics were verified as essence of giant chirp pulse with evidences of experimental characteristic spectrum and consistent theoretical modeling.
