Abstract
A novel class of high energy ultrafast OPCPA system at 7 µm, pumped by an optically synchronized and Tm:fiber pumped 2 µm picosecond Ho:YLF CPA system, delivers mJ-level pulses supporting a sub-4 optical cycle duration.
