Cavity-dumped mode-locked picosecond Nd:GdVO4 oscillator

Abstract

We report on a passively mode-locked solid-state picosecond Nd:GdVO4 oscillator with cavity-dumping. Pulse energies of 8 uJ and 16.7 uJ with sub-10 ps have been achieved at 1 MHz and 300 kHz, respectively.
