The Longitudinal Temperature Distribution in Active Fibers under Lasing Condition

Abstract

Novel method for precise temperature measurement of active fibers under conditions of laser generation and amplification is introduced. Measurements of temperature kinetics of active fibers allow determination of heat transfer coefficient at polymer air boundary.
