Continuum generation in the 2 microns wavelength interval using high-order mode propagation

Abstract

We demonstrate efficient continuum generation in the 2 micron wavelength interval using a new scheme of off-axis pumping and high-order mode propagation in a photonic crystal fiber pumped at around 780 nm.
