Pulsed Diode Side-pumped Mode-locked Nd:YVO4 Laser in Double-bounce Configuration

Abstract

Passively mode-locked Nd:YVO4 laser in the double-bounce grazing-incidence geometry under pulsed diode-pumping is presented. Q-switched pulse-trains of 16 ps pulses at 1.06µm were generated at repetition rate of 50Hz with low timing jitter of 140ns.
