Diode-pumped Alexandrite Ring Laser

Abstract

We present design and performance data of a linear Alexandrite laser in q-switched operation and an Alexandrite ring laser in quasi-cw mode, both longitudinally pumped by laser diode bar modules in the red spectral range.
