Laser Induced Damage Threshold of CVD-Grown Single Crystal Diamond Surfaces with Various Surface Finishes

Abstract

The laser induced damage threshold of diamond surfaces is presented and that of surfaces with various mechanical and chemical etch compared. The LIDT of the diamond surfaces was found to be around 26 Jcm−2.
