Multi-Wavelength, Narrow Bandwidth Diode Lasers for Power Scaling of Resonantly Pumped Er:YAG Lasers

Abstract

Eye-safe laser operation is realized by a resonantly pumped Er:YAG laser emitting at 1645 nm. The application of a multi-wavelength, narrow bandwidth diode lasers as pump sources allows for high optical efficiency of 48%.
